The Grand Palace

Historically the winter residence of the Ravkan royal family, the Grand Palace is the centre of the Ravkan government, situated in Os Alta at the top of Gersky Prospect. Exactly as the name describes, it's unfailingly grand with endless extravagant decor, such as many motifs of the Ravkan double eagle made from pure gold and even a jade tree with leaves made from diamonds. Despite the hardship Ravka has faced, it's clear from one look at the place that its creators designed it to be a show of wealth.
Rooms
Fittingly for Ravka, the Grand Palace's white walls are decorated mostly in gold and light blue, the country's naational colours. Most official audiences, ceremonies and entertaining are conducted in the throne room, which is three storeys high like the rest of the palace and features a long, pale blue carpet running down its centre to the dias. Other rooms include the “Eagle's Nest,” a dining room used for political functions and feasts featuring a frieze of the Ravkan double eagle on the ceiling, a portrait gallery, a concert hall, an armoury, training rooms for the guards, a conservatory, multiple ballrooms, suites for visiting ambassadors and Ravkan politicians, and many more.
Opinions
Because of its blatant decadence, some figures throughout history have had outspoken beliefs against the Little Palace, such as the Darkling and a prominent Shu architect, Toh Yul-Gham, who described the place as “an affront to the eyes of god.” Its sharp contrast to lower-class sections of Os Alta also has earned it criticism from some civilians.
Roleplay
In our timeline on World of the Grishaverse, the Grand Palace is the seat of the Ravkan Governor and the base of the Ravkan government, which reports back to the Imperial Palace. It is not uncommon for the Emperor to visit the Grand Palace to oversee and conduct business relating to the nation.
Quotes from the Series

We rode up a broad path paved in glittering gravel and bordered by rows of elegant trees. To the left and right, stretching into the distance, I saw manicured gardens, rich with green and hazy in the mist of early morning. Above it all, atop a series of marble terraces and golden fountains, loomed the Grand Palace, the Ravkan King’s winter home. When we finally reached the huge double-eagle fountain at its base, the Darkling brought his horse up beside mine. “So what do you think of it?” he asked. I glanced at him, then back at the elaborate facade. It was larger than any building I had ever seen, its terraces crowded with statues, its three stories gleaming with row after row of shining windows, each ornamented extensively in what I suspected was real gold. “It’s very ... grand?” I said carefully. He looked at me, a little smile playing on his lips. “I think it’s the ugliest building I’ve ever seen,” he said, and nudged his horse forward.

As we moved through a spacious entry hall into a long corridor lined with mirrors and ornamented in gold, I thought how different this place was from the Little Palace. Everywhere I looked, I saw marble and gold, soaring walls of white and palest blue, gleaming chandeliers, liveried footmen, polished parquet floors laid out in elaborate geometric designs. [...] The throne room was three stories high, every window sparkling with gold double eagles. A long, pale blue carpet ran the length of the room to where the members of the court milled about a raised throne. Many of the men wore military dress, black trousers and white coats laden with medals and ribbons. The women sparkled in gowns of liquid silk with little puffed sleeves and low necklines. Flanking the carpeted aisle, the Grisha stood arranged in their separate orders.
